Introduction to Mac OS
The information shown on this page is simply that, information. This information is related only to this course in
general, not to a specific class or instance of this course that is being offered. The labs shown on this page are
those that I have created for this course, they are not those that are specifically assigned. For actual class
information, the information that my current students should be looking at, return to the
homepage and choose a currently offered class.
This course is a hands on introduction to the Macintosh operating system. The student will learn to setup and configure as well as launch and run multiple applications in the mac environment. Basic features and operations performed in Mac applications will be demonstrated and practiced, including file management techniques.
Objectives
Students should be able to understand commonly used terminology in a OSX environment
Students should be able to use the current version of OSX to accomplish goals
Students should be able to perform file management tasks in OSX
Students should be able to manage an OSX work environment
Students should be able to configure and control OSX and it's default applications
