Introduction to Mac OS

Course Description

This course is a hands on introduction to the Macintosh operating system. The student will learn to setup and configure as well as launch and run multiple applications in the mac environment. Basic features and operations performed in Mac applications will be demonstrated and practiced, including file management techniques.

Objectives

  1. Students should be able to understand commonly used terminology in a OSX environment
  2. Students should be able to use the current version of OSX to accomplish goals
  3. Students should be able to perform file management tasks in OSX
  4. Students should be able to manage an OSX work environment
  5. Students should be able to configure and control OSX and it's default applications
  6. Students should be able to use applications in OSX
